It was March 9, 2019.
In my prayer journal, I wrote a simple reflection from my time in God’s Word, three lessons from Timothy’s life, and then a bold request flowed from my pen:
“Lord, give us the mountain. Give Your ministry the biggest mountain, the hardest city, the biggest giants… because I know You want to do great things for Your glory!”
At that time, Sevierville wasn’t even on our radar, but it was on God’s. Exactly three years later, we were handed the keys to our Sevierville building, and I knew from the very beginning that we would one day outgrow that space.
That time is now.
God is calling us once again to take the land not for our own name, but for His glory.
A Bold Step of Faith
In April, I sat before a group of men at First Baptist Sevierville with a prayer in my heart and a fire in my soul:
“We want what You want, Lord.”
That day, I shared a bold request.
And in the months that followed, the Lord stirred the hearts of His people.
First Baptist Sevierville voted to gift us the land for our future center!
Can we just pause and say, God is so good! 🙌
This gift of land is just the first step. We now move forward in prayer and faith as we work toward building a 4,000-square-foot center that will allow us to meet growing needs, serve more families, and multiply our life-saving impact.
