In 2021, there were 12,182 abortions reported in Tennessee. An increase of 8% from the year before. That’s nearly 33 abortions a day.

Life-saving resource called, “Pregnancy Testing and Resource Center”, was born. The charter was signed on January 24, 1986. A story was being birthed.
We moved from meeting at Madison Avenue Baptist Church to our first space on Ellis Avenue. We reached more families with life affirming alternatives due to a yellow page advertisement in the phone book. Legacy was growing.
In June 1992, we moved into our new home on Neff Street. In May of that year, the Center saw 79 families, and in June, 93. Lives continue to be changed by meeting families where they are and sharing truth in love.
Entered into a contract to purchase Center at 3028 Old Niles Ferry Road from Neff Street. Touching lives and putting us on a path to soon be a medical clinic offering life-saving and life-revealing ultrasounds.
With the help of Focus on the Family and NIFLA, Pregnancy Testing and Resource Center was converted to Pregnancy Resource Center providing life-saving ultrasound services.
In 2015, we took a leap of faith and announced our vision to go mobile, giving us the opportunity to travel the highways and byways to reach those who face difficult pregnancy decisions with life affirming alternatives to abortion. In 2017, the Lord provided through His people, and we met our mobile goal.

In October 2019, we stepped out in faith and shared a bold vision to sell our Old Niles Ferry location and purchase our new home on Station Drive. With God’s guidance and the generosity of our community, the old center was sold in just 30 days, and the new building was paid off in under two years.
In 2022, the Lord worked in amazing ways by expanding our reach into Sevier County. We were gifted a small house that allowed us to impact more lives. In 2025, we were graciously gifted land, and we cast the vision once again as we look to build just down the road, impacting more lives here on earth and for eternity.
Relationships: We are very intentional to show Christ's love and kindness with those we serve both in our center and in the community whether that be a client or a supporter.
Integrity: We value honesty and always do the right thing. We strive to be above reproach in all of our interactions.
Life: Life begins at conception and God is the author of life. He created men and women in His image, and therefore all human life deserves to be protected.
Christianity: Our relationship with Jesus Christ fuels the way we interact with and serve others.
Compassion: We have a heart for the broken.
Refinement: We strive for excellence as God is still molding us and refining us to His full potential.
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including all pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death.
We are therefore called to defend, protect and value human life.

At the Pregnancy Resource Center, we are committed to your privacy. We will not rent, sell, or otherwise publish our donor information or send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations.
The Pregnancy Resource Center is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization. Our EIN is 58-1704864 if you would like to set up workplace match-giving.
Speaking with ECFA it is healthy for non-profit ministries to have at minimum 70% of their program allocations fall in that range of 70% or higher. We are thankful to have ours fall at 75.4%. We recognize the need to fundraise to help our ministry receive the funds we need to have the programs that we do and to hold our ministry to that high standard that ECFA sets forth to ensure we are being good stewards of what is entrusted to us.
