Chief Executive Officer

Over the past seven weeks on our social outlets, we have looked back on the story of the PRC and where we are headed today. Each answered prayer, unexpected gift, growing need, and bold step of faith has brought us to this moment. Now, we are excited to share what comes next.

A Gift That Opened the Door

Our Sevierville Pregnancy Center is celebrating 4 years, and our ministry is celebrating 40 years this year! On October 17, 2022, the Pregnancy Resource Center opened its Sevierville Center in a gifted, debt-free building. The 1,269-square-foot center was an incredible answer to prayer. Churches, volunteers, and generous community members helped transform the space into a place where women, men, and families could receive pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, education, material assistance, and ongoing support.

From the beginning, we knew Sevierville would be one of our greatest challenges. We also knew God opened this door for a reason and that we would obey and walk through it. One of the great things about our mobile clinic is that it has allowed us to enter communities, see the need, and measure it. Sevier County was on that list.

Since October 2022, as more families have come through that door, the building’s limitations have become clear. Patient parking is limited, and there is not enough room for the classes and programs that enable us to continue walking alongside families during pregnancy and after their babies are born.

The need has grown, and now the space must grow with it.

One Bold Request

In 2025, we felt God calling us to make a bold request. We asked a local church to consider donating an acre of land for a future Sevierville Center. God answered that prayer. An acre of land was offered for the project, but the path forward was not immediately clear. Plans shifted, possible locations changed, and at times we wondered whether the project would succeed.

Then came a phone call that changed everything:

“I found the perfect place.”

The future PRC Sevierville Center will be built off Paine Street.

From Pain to Purpose

The significance of that name was impossible for us to miss.

Before we purchased the building that now houses our Maryville Center, it had been used as both a cosmetic surgery center and a pain clinic. We believed God would transform that building into a place where pain could become purpose. Soon, families will travel down Paine Street to reach our future Sevierville Center.

Some will arrive experiencing fear, pressure, uncertainty, or pain. Inside, they will find compassionate people ready to listen, share accurate information, offer practical support, and remind them they are not alone.

They may arrive in pain, but God can turn their pain into purpose.

Why This Building Matters

A young woman recently came to our Sevierville Center while facing pressure from others to have an abortion. Our team confirmed her pregnancy, provided education, and gave her a safe place to consider her options.

She left without making another appointment, and we did not know what she would decide. The following week, she returned. She had chosen life.

These are the stories that come from rooms where people sit knee to knee with women, men, and families during critical moments. A building is a tool, but God can use it to change lives and future generations.

The future center will add more clinical rooms, ultrasound appointments, client support, education, and classes. It will allow us to serve more families while continuing to offer the personal, compassionate care at the heart of this ministry.

Where the Project Stands

We have hired a contractor and an architect, and the first plans for the new center are taking shape.

The estimated construction cost is approximately $1.4 million. We have roughly $450,000 toward the project.

Once construction is complete and we move into the new center, we intend to sell our current Sevierville space and direct the proceeds back into the project. We are praying, planning, and inviting God’s people to help bring this vision to life.

Help Us Turn Pain Into Purpose

This project began with a simple but bold request: “Would you consider giving us an acre of land?”

That request became an answered prayer. Now, we are making another bold request.

Will you help us build the future PRC Sevierville Center?

Together, we can create a place where women and men feel seen, families receive support, lives are protected, and stories of pain are transformed into stories of purpose.

We strive to empower expectant mothers with the knowledge and care they need.
